Vietnam starts to resume international flights in January 2022
With a high proportion of the population being fully vaccinated, the Vietnamese government has officially allowed the reopening of regular international flights starting from January 1, 2022.

This resumption first applies to nine destinations namely San Francisco or Los Angeles (USA), Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Vientiane (Laos), Beijing or Guangzhou (China). ), Tokyo (Japan), Seoul (Korea) and Taipei.
The State Department has been working on joint agreements on “vaccine passports”. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is expected to issue guidance on mandatory quarantine by December 15, allowing passengers with two doses of the vaccine to be able to self-isolate on arrival.
