Accordingly, this plan is applied to visitors from countries with high safety from the Covid-19 pandemic such as Northeast Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and Europe, and have a need to go to the beach and relax. .
Foreign travelers must demonstrate a certificate of full vaccinations or a certificate of COVID-19 recovery valid within 12 months prior to the date of entry, negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours prior to departure . They are also required to have health insurance and commit to travel insurance with their travel agency. Visitors with any symptoms of Covid-19 upon entry are also required to follow the isolation policy.
Under the program, children under 12 years old can be accompanied by a parent or guardian who meets all of the above requirements.
In addition, all foreign visitors are required to install a travel app to make a medical declaration upon arrival, travel in a selected car according to the scheduled program, and comply with the 5K message of the Ministry of Health about precautions during the journey.
Phu Quoc expects to welcome 3,000 – 5,000 foreign tourists in the first 3 months of the pilot program starting from October 2021. The second phase in the next 3 months can be adjusted depending on results of the first phase.
