Flight VN692 of Vietnam Airlines – Vietnam Airlines brought the first 160 passengers from Singapore to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa.
On the afternoon of June 3, the first flight to open a new route between Singapore and Khanh Hoa landed at Cam Ranh International Airport. This is the 5th route Vietnam Airlines connects Singapore with major cities of Vietnam. It is expected that the route will operate with a frequency of 2 flights/week. Flights depart from Khanh Hoa on Tuesdays and Sundays and from Singapore and every Friday and Sunday.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh – General Director of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, said: “Singapore is a very potential market. Singapore airport transits very large destinations, not only tourists from Singapore and the surrounding areas, tourists from other countries when coming to Singapore often connect to the next trip and that is an opportunity for Vietnamese tourism, especially Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa”.
