About 200km from Hanoi capital, Moc Chau has ideal geological conditions, cool weather, diverse ecosystems all year round, becoming an ideal destination for relaxing vacations.

Expanding over 206,000 hectares in Moc Chau and Van Ho district, Son La province, the Moc Chau tourist complex welcomed 1.2 million tourists in 2019. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of tourists down slightly to 850,000 in 2020.

In the two years 2014 and 2019, the Prime Minister decided to bring the eco-tourism area, theme park and resort into the core area of ​​Moc Chau National Tourist Area. With the goal of being recognized as a national tourist area by 2025, tourism managers are carrying out tourism promotion activities for both domestic and international visitors.

Not only famous for its immense tea hills, but Moc Chau every season attracts tourists thanks to the plum, peach or apricot forests that produce flowers and fruits at different times of the year. Moreover, visitors will be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of Pha Luong peak, Dai Yem waterfall, Ban Ang pine forest, underground caves or national nature reserve. Moc Chau is home to many ethnic groups such as Dao, Thai, Muong, and Mong. Thus, tourists have the opportunity to experience both the natural landscape and the rich cultural identity.
