Recently, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in collaboration with Cam Ranh International Airport and Vietjet Air organized to welcome flight number VJ 837 departing from Incheon Airport (Korea) to Cam Ranh Airport (Vietnam) carried 153 passengers, including 152 Korean passengers and one Vietnamese passenger.
This is an event that marks the return of tourism connection between Vietnam and Korea after nearly two years of hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
All passengers on flight VJ 837 were greeted with a water cannon, floral wreaths and accompanying gifts, showing affection and warm hospitality of Vietnam in general and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa in particular.

It is known that the Cam Ranh – Incheon route operates three return flights per week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting from May 20, 2022.
According to the plan, Vietjet Air will continue to reopen routes connecting Seoul with Phu Quoc and Hai Phong right in May, bringing the total number of routes connecting Vietnam – Korea to six routes, ready to welcome the wave of tourism between the two countries when Korea officially announced the re-issuance of short-term tourist visas for international and Vietnamese tourists from June 1, 2022.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh – director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, said that after nearly two years of being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the tourism industry of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa has received a lot of positive signals.
