Location & History
In 1969, the theater was established and since 1990; many water puppet shows have been performed by artists of Thang Long theater, annually there are about 500 plays serving about 150,000 spectators. Moreover, the theater has brought the art of water puppetry to more than 40 foreign countries such as Japan, France, the US, Australia, Spain… through performances, international cultural exchange programs or other events. puppet festival.

Water Puppet
The content of traditional water puppetry performances such as the daily life of Vietnamese farmers (cultivating, herding buffaloes, fishing…), social arts (swimming, dragon dancing…), historical legends (Le Loi returns the precious sword…), with a modest performance style that has captivated audiences for centuries.
