Day 2: Da Nang – My Son Sanctuary

In the morning enjoy a private car ride to Hoian old town. Located downstream of the Thu Bon River, this is a busy international trading port, a meeting place for Japanese, Chinese and Western trading ships in the 17-18 centuries.

On the way, the group stops to visit My Son – The ancient capital of the Cham dynasty from the 4th to the 12th century. This is a large religious relic complex including more than 70 architectural works. They consist of interconnected temples and towers with intricate designs made of red bricks. The main component of Cham architectural design is the tower built to reflect the divinity of the King. Then continue driving to Hoian. Drop off at your hotel. Meals are your own. Overnight in Hoian.
