Recently, the travel website – Travel+Leisure – has come up with a list of 20 travel experience ideas that travelers should try once in their life, especially for the upcoming summer vacation. Accordingly, backpacking travel in a number of Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, is included in this list.
According to the site’s description, traveling in the direction of an adventurous experience, blending with the locals is a travel journey that brings many interesting emotions to visitors. Instead of just looking at postcards or videos on social networking sites, backpacking and going to the place you need to go is a must for those who are passionate about travel.
Specifically, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand or Bali (Indonesia) are destinations in Southeast Asia that are checked-in a lot on Facebook and Instagram. Coming to these places, visitors can mingle with elephants, go to temples, learn to cook or simply roam around on motorbikes to discover local cuisine.
Previously, the travel review site – TripAdvisor – also voted the activity of discovering street food by motorbike with local Vietnamese students in the top 25 in the world’s top experience category. This shows that this is an activity that international tourists visiting Vietnam should not miss.
In particular, Travel+Leisure also praised backpacking in Vietnam with low prices, suitable for those who do not have a large travel budget. Accordingly, it costs people less than twenty US dollars (about 450,000 VND) for a day in Vietnam, from eating to resting.
In addition to backpacking in Vietnam and some Southeast Asian countries, visitors should not miss these exciting experiences for the upcoming summer vacation: driving on highways in the Pacific coast, lang Europe by train, going on Safari in South Africa, pretending not to be a tourist in New York City (USA), surfing in Nicaragua, pretending to be 007 in Monaco…
